Chrysler 7.25″

Chrysler 7.25″ axles have a 7.25″ ring gear that bolts to the carrier with (10) 3/8″ – 24 bolts. The pinion has a 1.375″ diameter shaft with 27 splines. This axle can be visually identified by its 9 or 10 cover bolts. The carriers available support 2.47 and numerically lower ratios and 2.76 and numerically higher ratios. This axle was used in front and rear applications. Front applications were an IFS configuration and rear applications were a solid (beam) axle.
