Dana 35 Standard Cut

Dana 35 standard cut axles have a 7.560" ring gear that bolts to the carrier with (8) 7/16" – 20 bolts. The pinion has a 1.463" diameter shaft with 26 splines. This axle can be visually identified by its 10 cover bolts. The carriers available support 3.31 and numerically lower ratios and 3.55 and numerically higher ratios. This axle is sometimes referred to as an AMC 35 and was used in front and rear applications. Front applications were an IFS configuration and rear applications were a solid (beam) axle.
